Both parks offer a variety of trails suited for hikers of all levels. The Cunningham Falls Trail is one of the popular ones which leads to a stunning waterfall, while the Chimney Rock Trail rewards hikers with panoramic views. There is a small, serene lake located within the Cunningham Falls State Park called Hunting Creek Lake. This lake is often utilized for fishing and non-motorized boating. The water is crystal clear and there is ample parking.
2. Rocks State Park- Massive rock formations and spectacular panoramic views make this park a hiker's paradise. The highlight of this park is the King and Queen Seat Trail. It is a trail with a moderate level of difficulty, leading to the famous 190-foot tall rock outcrop. At the top, you are greeted by stunning views of the woods. You can also watch people doing rock climbing at the top of the trail. The trail is a steep climb however people of all ages are able to reach the top.
